Mrs. Barnes died Wednesday, August 26, 2009, at her home in Longview, Texas. She was born on March 9, 1950, in Nacogdoches, Texas, to Vester Don "Bob" Bobo and Jennie Erleta Flowers. As a member of Mobberly Baptist Church, Longview, for her entire adult life she served on the Finance Committee and as a Care Group Leader. She was the Community Involvement Coordinator for Pine Tree ISD for 17 years. There she served on numerous committees through Partners in Prevention as well as the United Way. She was also actively involved in Adopt-A-School and Forever Friends Mentoring Program. She was a very loving and compassionate person who always sought to serve others first. She enjoyed life and one of the greatest joys in her life was being Andrew's mother and Steve's wife. She touched countless lives through her service to God, church, family, community and friends. She never met a stranger as she befriended all. The past year, while filled with many ups and downs, taught many, including herself, how to persevere through adversity and disappointment. Her faith never faltered and her trust in God remained steadfast through it all. Those who walked the long journey with her this year will always remember her as their new hero. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vester Don "Bob" Bobo and Jennie Erleta Flowers. Survivors are her husband, Steve Barnes of Longview, Texas; son, Andrew Barnes of Carrollton, Texas; sisters, Donnie Chumley Jenkins and husband Jack of Diboll, Texas, and Linda Alexander and husband Donald of Nacogdoches, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2009, at Mobberly Baptist Church with the Rev. John McGuire and Dr. Glynn Stone officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.

Funeral service for Mr. Larry M. Cloudy, 62, of Nacogdoches, Texas will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at Laird Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Brewer and Bro. LeyMoin Wiggins officiating. Burial will follow at Harmony Cemetery. Mr. Cloudy was born February 15, 1950, in Orange, Texas, to Wesley and Maxine Drook Cloudy. He passed away March 18, 2012, in Lufkin, Texas. Larry grew up in Nacogdoches and graduated from Nacogdoches High School in 1968. He served his country in the U.S. Army as a mechanic. He married Marsha Ann Ritter November 21, 1980, in Nacogdoches. Larry liked to coon hunt and was a member of the Texas State Coon Hunters Association. He was an avid trotline fisherman, as well. He loved working on his poultry farm. He had a wonderful personality, was very witty and made friends easily. He enjoyed his daily trips to the post office and visiting with the friends he ran into. Larry was a great man with a lot of integrity, and if he couldn't give you good advice he wouldn't give you any advice at all. Larry is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Marsha Cloudy, of Nacogdoches; his mother, Maxine Cloudy of Nacogdoches; one son, Travis Cloudy of Beaumont; stepson, Jason Tucker and wife, Eileen, of Olathe, Kansas; two daughters, Angela Unsell and husband, Jason, of Lufkin and Susan Wilson and husband, Kenneth, of Cushing; stepdaughter, Rebecca Boles and husband, Tony, of Pollok; and eight grandchildren. In addition to his father, Wesley Cloudy, he is preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Bridwell. Pallbearers will be Mike Lee, Kenneth Wilson, Jeff Bridwell, Marc Bridwell, Wes Bridwell, Donald Renfro and Carroll Bridwell.

Glenn Allen Johnson, 65, died Monday, May 18, 2015 at the Stallings Court Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Nacogdoches following an illness with cancer. He leaves his wife of 43 years, Margie Hopper Johnson; his daughter, Melanie Johnson of Sugarland; sister, Susan Johnson Rice and husband, Larry of Nacogdoches; brother, Steven Johnson and wife, Kathy; grandson, Brent Woodall and wife, Kaycie of Katy; granddaughter, Abigail Woodall of Sugarland and grandson, Kyle Woodall also of Sugarland. He was preceded in death by his parents, John T. Johnson, R. Viola Neal Johnson, and brother, John. T. Johnson, Jr. (Tommy). Glenn was raised in Nacogdoches and was the son of John T. and R. Viola Neal Johnson. He attended Nacogdoches High School, where he was first chair trumpet player in the 1968 award
winning sweepstakes band, and as a freshman, was first chair trumpet for the Stephen F. Austin State University Concert and Jazz Band. His love of music continued throughout his life. He was a member of the Tom Houston Orchestra, Zion Lion Reggae Band and bugler for the Veterans of Foreign War in Nacogdoches. His service
through the VFW included playing TAPS at many service related ceremonies.
Visitation and Memorial will be at the Laird Funeral Home in Nacogdoches and is scheduled for Thursday, May 21 at 1 pm, with the Celebration of Life following at 2pm. The family wishes to express their thanks for the many acts of kindness, prayers, and support from friends and family through his illness, and extends sincere appreciation for the dedication and care received from Debra Horn, private caregiver; the nurses and staff at Stalling Court Nursing and Rehabilitation Center; Hospice of East Texas, and James Hopper, brother-in-law. Allen Powell Wells died on Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015. He was 65 years old. Allen was born Jan. 16, 1950, in Centerville, Texas, to Dorothy Wells Hardy and Henry E. Wells Sr. He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother; Virginia Wells McLaughlin, Catherine Wells Wolf and Guy Murphy Wells. He is survived by two sisters and one brother; Gaye Wells of Dallas, Ione Wells Reese of Nacogdoches and Henry E. Wells Jr. of Stillwater, Okla. He is also survived by five nephews, two nieces, one great-nephew, 11 great-nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins. Allen graduated Nacogdoches High School in 1968. During his life, he lived in Centerville, Nacogdoches, Crockett, Houston and most recently, Stillwater, Okla. He was of the Baptist faith. Allen was blessed with a great sense of humor, a kind heart and a sweet spirit.
